Anything is fine.
Is writing your full-time profession or a hobby?
Retired Public Health Microbiologist, writing as much as I want to.

How do you go about starting a new novel?
Get a concept and start writing, the book will tell me what to do next.
Where do you like to write?
Home, outside when it’s warm.
What do you like most about writing?
Beats drinking and drug abuse.
What do you find stops you from writing more?
Honey-do’s and fixing the house and yard.
What genres do you like to write and why?
SciFi, It’s what I know.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to aspiring writers?
Don’t listen to unsolicited advice.
