I’m a British book lover, avid reader, reviewer and occasional victim of my own ever-growing TBR pile. Literary Louis started as a place to talk about the queer books I couldn’t stop thinking about, and it’s grown into honest reviews, author interviews, reading lists, travel guides and a podcast in the works.
When I’m not reading or reviewing, I’m writing. As Louis Ethan I write MM romance packed with heart, heat and characters you’ll probably become far too emotionally invested in. My debut, The Lantern, came out in July 2025, and there’s more on the way.
I’m also a keen traveller. I love finding LGBTQ+ friendly destinations, heading to book events and comic cons, and turning every trip into another story worth sharing.
Away from the books, I’m proudly gay, married to my amazing husband Matt, and dog dad to Max and Milo, who are both convinced they’re the real stars of the show. You’ll regularly find me on TikTok and Threads, armed with a tongue almost as sharp as my pen.
