It’s 2025 and I’ve decided that I am not longer doing ARC reviews. Instead I will be reading and reviewing e-books that I am sent from authors. Below is a little more information on this mission. It’s totally free, I do not charge, I love uplifting authors and making them shine. If you are looking to take part, take a look below on how. Just to note, I do love physcial copies but I’m not one of them reviewers that demand them, it’s just nice on my shelf.

Book Genres & Tropes I’m looking for

Below are a list of book genres and tropes that I’m looking for. However, if you have something that I might like send me an email.

  • LGBTQ+ books (I’m a gay guy and love MM books! Dark Romance, Age Gap, Enemies To Lovers, Christmas)
  • Dark Romance (I’m new to this so light dark romance is best)
  • Sci-Fi
  • Christmas books (I LOVE Christmas and I make a big deal of sharing these at Christmas time!)
  • Fantasy (If your book has hot guy elves then I am literally going to LOVE IT!!)
  • Magic

My tastes are broad, I’m looking to make them even broader and really help and uplift authors in 2025!

How To Take Part

  • Email me with an e-book copy or an audio copy, give me a brief synopsis of your book and “professional photos” of your book for my socials.
  • Send me an email!

Why I’m Doing This?

Over the years, I’ve loved being part of the book community, reading and reviewing stories that have touched my heart. However, after careful consideration, I’ve decided to take a step back from accepting ARCs to focus on reading and reviewing at my own pace. I am a mood reader and a slow reader, this means I have to read at my own pace, I find ARCs difficult due to the time constraints and I hate to let people down, which is why ARCs are out.

I’ve made the choice to only share books I genuinely enjoyed. If a story resonates with me, I’ll happily talk about it on social media and write a review on Goodreads. However, I won’t be leaving negative reviews. I believe every book has an audience, and just because a story wasn’t for me doesn’t mean it won’t be perfect for someone else. Plus there’s nothing gained by leaving a negative review for a book.

What I’m Doing Now!

Instead of being part of street teams or accepting ARCs I will be offering authors the chance to send me their book for me to read and review. I read all the books I review and there is no charge for this. I will also be contacting authors about my author features once I have read their book so that they can take part. This gives me the freedom to explore books that catch my eye without the added pressure of deadlines or expectations. If you’d like me to read and review your book, I can’t guarantee a timeframe, but if I love it, you’ll hear about it!
