I grew up on a tiny island near the Quebec border
What are the three items you’d take on a deserted island?
Pack of pencils, a notebook, and a water filter
Who is your biggest role model?
Spider-man
What is your favourite book and who is your favourite author?
A Song of Ice and Fire as a series. As a standalone Anthem by Ayn Rand. Favourite author is a close one between George RR Martin and Neal Shusterman.
Do you prefer e-books, physical books or audiobooks?
Only physical books.
Is writing your full-time profession or a hobby?
I got my degree in it but I am definitely not a full time author sadly.
What social media platform do you like and use the most?
Like to use? None. I don’t enjoy social media honestly. I only do it because I have to. otherwise I’d be a hermit writing his books.

Your Writing Process
How do you go about starting a new novel?
I jump in the deep end typically. My new series I have started, I actually planned a little.
Where do you like to write?
I write anywhere I can.
What do you like most about writing?
I just love creating and following my characters on their journey.
What do you find stops you from writing more?
Having to actually make money, basketball and mountaineering.
What genres do you like to write and why?
Fantasy and poetry. I love the fantastical. I always have for as long as I can remember.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to aspiring writers?
Honestly, prepare for heartbreak and hope for the best.

How many books have you written and if more than one, what’s your favourite?
4 poetry books, one sci-fi fantasy, 2 fantasy books, and one about a WWII vet that have been published. Tails of Battle is my favourite because it is my real baby. I worked so hard on it and hand wrote it.
How long did Tails of Battle take to write?
I actually don’t know this answer.
Lastly, what is your favourite thing about being an author?
My favourite thing is just creating and being with my characters.
