All I Want For Christmas Is My Sisters Boyfriend Synopsis

Some people want their two front teeth or a hippopotamus for Christmas. Not me—too cliché. But sitting on Santa’s lap and asking for a boyfriend? That’s a new low, even for me. In my defence, I’d just been knocked into a store display by the man of my dreams ten minutes earlier, so my brain wasn’t exactly firing on all cylinders. Then again, when is it ever?

I didn’t expect to see Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome again, but fate—or Santa—had other plans. When I ran into him the very next night, I thought maybe my Christmas wish was coming true after all. Spoiler alert: I was wrong.

Fast forward to Christmas at my parents’ house, where I find out my sister beat me to it. Yep, she asked Santa for a boyfriend, and he delivered early. Her new guy? Perfect in every way. Charming, adored by my parents, and even tolerated by Lucifer, our demon cat. Oh, and one small detail: he’s my dream guy—the one I thought was supposed to be under my tree.

So now I’m stuck smiling through the holiday cheer, watching my sister with the guy who’s supposed to be mine. Merry freakin’ Christmas. Someone pass the eggnog. Or better yet, the rum.

All I Want For Christmas Is My Sisters Boyfriend Rating – 4.5/5

What do you think of my overall rating? Was I too nice? Too harsh? Or did I hit the nail on the head.

All I want For Christmas Is My Sisters Boyfriend Plot – 4.5

I think the book All I want For Christmas Is My Sisters Boyfriend had a strong plot, there were no plot holes that I could think of, it was easy to follow and a great read for people that want a short novella to get them into the Christmas spirit.

I will say, and it may be because I read a lot of books and watch a lot on TV that I could see the whole boyfriend for hire coming from a mile away. Most people probably won’t but that’s my opinion.

All I Want For Christmas Is My Sisters Boyfriend Characters – 4.8

Loved them. Each character had their own thing, their own back story and they were all well written and described which is difficult to do in a novella as you don’t have as much content to build them up.

I will say though Holly was a main feature at the start of the novella and then was almost filtered out with only a couple of mentions. This could have been expanded on, Holly could have got more book time and it could have made the novella longer and stronger.

All I Want For Christmas Is My Sisters Boyfriend Emotional Rating – 5

I was cheering, I was crying and I thought the emotional aspects of the novella were captured amazingly.

The fight between Rick and Aiden was done to perfection making me want to read on. Towards the end when Miles was spending Christmas morning without Aiden made me cry and of course the ending gave them warm fuzzy feelings. It also had an air of mystery with Santa being thrown in.

All I Want For Christmas Is My Sisters Boyfriend Ending – 4

I hate endings, they are very hit and miss. The All I Want For Christmas Is My sisters Boyfriend book had a strong ending although I feel that leaving it on a cliffhanger as it’s only a novella and I don’t think there’s a following to this novella, shouldn’t have happened.

All I Want For Christmas Is My Sisters Boyfriend Spice – 2

There was a light amount of spicy, nothing too smutty which was a shame as I’d have loved some more interaction between Miles and Aiden. I don’t use the spice rating in my overal ratings because some books have it and some don’t.

If you want a Christmas romance filled with a whole lot of forced proximity and fun; this is for you.
