The Geek Who Saved Christmas Rating – 4.3/5
As I’ve said, I really liked this book, I love anything Christmas though! Take a look below on how I got to my rating in this The Geek Who Saved Christmas review. Was I too harsh, spot on or a little too nice?
The Geek Who Saved christmas Plot – 4.8
The plot was sound and waterproof. It all flowed with ease and the sprinkle of Christmas magic was found on each page. The chapter lengths were a little too long for my concentration and dyslexic brain but overall it was an easy read and the plot was fantastic.
The Geek Who Saved Christmas Charachters – 4
Okay, so the names were a little cheesy. I know it’s a Christmas book but Gideon Holiday and Paul Frost! I will say I loved Paul’s development, you think he’s a tough nut to crack and when Gideon finally cracks him he’s the almost perfect man.
There were times I was screaming at the book to make them say something or do something but alas they did not listen and I think that’s what makes The Geek Who Saved Christmas more fun.
The Geek Who Saved Christmas Ending – 4.5
I hate endings, sometimes they’re terrible and sometimes they’re spot on. The Geek Who Saved Christmas has one of them endings where it was almost perfect. It was cute, and romantic and answered any questions that were lingering, well almost every question. I would have liked a little more but it wasn’t too bad.
The Geek Who Saved Christmas Emotional Rating – 4
Emotional ratings are always fun. I did tear up a little but didn’t really cry. Not only that but The Geek Who Saved Christmas brought out the joy in me, had me smiling throughout and rolling my eyes when Paul would do something dumb. So it was emotional but not enough to have me in tears.
The Geek Who Saved Christmas Spice Rating – 2
I never add the spice rating to my overall rating because some books have spice, some hint at spice and some don’t really have much. This one had light spice I would call it, there was definitely spice in the book but it could have been so much more.
