Tempted Book Review by Becca Steele

I love Becca Steele so when I saw this novella I had to give it a read. Tempted is a quick read, I did it in a day so for anyone that enjoys a quick book or if you’re a slow reader like I am, Tempted is for you.

Tempted By Becca Steele Book Review

I will mark any spoilers in italics so this is your warning to avoid them! I have mixed feelings about this book so if you’re interested have a look on what I have to say and judge for yourself. I do however think that it was pretty decent in the end and worth the read.

Tempted Rating – 4/5

Take a look below on what I thought about the certain elements that make up the book. I will point out that it is a novella and some novellas don’t do justice when it comes to the character description and that can throw the whole story off.

Tempted Plot – 4.5

The plot was pretty solid although fast paced. It was easy to keep up with, you knew exactly what was going on. I would have liked some more description so that I could tell things apart. Although, for the most part it was well written and easy to digest for my dyslexic brain!

Tempted Characters – 3.5

This is where it fell apart a little for me. I loved the Characters don’t get me wrong but I was a little overwhelmed with the amount of them to start with and trying to remember who everyone was became a chore so I blurred some of them out in my mind.

However, the Characters that did stick around were easy to remember, relate to and as you get deeper into the Novella the unwanted Characters fade away.

Tempted Emotional Factor – 4

When it comes to books I normally end up crying, however I didn’t with Tempted. Don’t get me wrong is was packed full of emotion but this time I was mainly laughing most of the way through due to Character dynamics and witty comments and that’s also nice to read.

Tempted Ending – 4

Endings can always be so hit and miss and for the most part this was a hit. However, I was feeling like I wanted more which was a shame. Overall, a decent ending.

Tempted Spice – 4

I don’t include spice ratings in overall ratings because not all books have them and that wouldn’t be fair. However, the spice in this was on point. I do get a bit funny when the “prostate” is magically found as that’s not really true to life but other than that the spice was hot, placed in the perfect places and worth the wait!
